Finally: The Buddhists Say Sayonara to Nationalism and Corruption: Kudos to the Buddhists

Mr Saito, head of long-time LDP (ruling party since the early post-war years) junior partner Komeito (Sokka Gakkai) has announced it will end its 26-year collaboration with corrupt LDP over its failure (newly-elected party head Takaichi's failure, most recently) to distance itself from funny money scandals. Additional impetus for Komeito's decision was Takaichi's anti-foreigner rhetoric. Oh, have I mentioned faction boss Aso? I think I have in previous posts. He is bad news, truly. Ironically, Aso and his protege/ minion Takaichi could end up relegating the LDP to also-ran status A rare (in our times) instance of a politician and party putting values/ morals before cynical party politics.
